Michael Moore Is A Big, Fat, Stupid White Man

First book on Michael Moore! Jason Clarke (moorelies.com) and I have teamed to produce, posthaste, a book analysing Moore's career from its beginning, and published by ReganBooks, an imprint of HarperCollins. It was serious work, and is far more comprehensive than our webpages. We discuss Moore's entire mendacious career with some startling results. These are a few examples:

Although he constantly cites his supposed birth and upbringing in Flint as pivotal to his outlook, he was neither born nor raised in Flint.

Although he claims status as something of a pundit, his predictions are usually wrong, and every cause he endorses goes into a tailspin (Wesley Clark was neither the first nor the last).

His first film (Roger & Me) was also his first encounter with the law, as one of the people ridiculed in it (his friend up to that point) sued him for defamation and won. When critics discovered that a critical part of the film was faked, he responded by claiming they'd been bought off.

Fahrenheit 911: Writing before it was released, we predicted six sections of the film, and were right on five of them. Then we took each section apart and showed how Moore stretches the truth. One sample: the sequence where Bush supposedly authorizes flights to get Saudis out of the U.S. a few days after 9/11, while planes were still grounded? Well, other than that Bush didn't authorize the flights, they didn't occur a few days after 9/11, nor were while planes were grounded.....

These are just a handful of examples (the entire book is 240 pages). It'll be released on June 29; if you want to pre-order before then (or order after), here's where:
